Dry-Concepts has the unique capability to help any of our clients in response to the virus.
Using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines, Dry-Concepts can clean and apply disinfectant to your homes and businesses exposed or potentially exposed to any virus with the techniques recommended by the CDC.
We are closely monitoring the situation and are operating with a full staff to do our part in getting through this difficult time.
While the exact extent of disease transmission from contact with surfaces is currently unknown, initial indications are that prolonged exposure to contaminated surfaces does lead to higher infection rates. Therefore, cleaning surfaces and applying a disinfectant are important risk mitigation techniques. With the proper training, equipment, supplies and personal proactive equipment, Dry-Concepts has the experience dealing with other hazardous microorganisms, such as sewage mitigation and mold remediation, and can offer valuable services to combat the virus.
The first step in cleaning and sanitizing to break the chain of the illnesses from secondary
surfaces is to remove soil and other surface contaminants. Emphasis will be placed on
cleaning surfaces more likely to be touched by occupants; commonly referred to as
touchpoints. Since people are not precise when touching objects, touchpoint cleaning will
extend past the focused item 3-12 inches. Common touchpoints include, but are not limited to,
door knobs and locks, door push bars, door edges and jambs on the side opposite the hinges,
stair and ramp hand railings, cupboard handles and drawer pulls, appliance handles, light
switches, table and desktops, telephones, toilet seats and flush handles, faucet handles, soap
pumps, keyboards and mice, elevator buttons, credit card keypads, vending machine buttons,
equipment controls, television remote controls, chair armrests, bedrails, and countertops.
All of our antimicrobials, disinfectants and procedures being used are approved by the EPA and CDC for the purpose of surface sanitization and are listed on the EPA “Emerging Pathogen/List N”. Our chemistry meets the requirements of the emerging pathogens procedures for enveloped viruses (the class of organism of the SARS & COV-2).
This process goes beyond, behind, under and around traditional disinfecting. Halosil’s proprietary formula harnesses the true, oxidizing power of a hydrogen peroxide disinfectant by infusing it with proprietary oligodynamic technology. During this intricate process, the hydrogen peroxide is stabilized and boosted with silver ions. The result is a radical fluid architecture that is capable of destroying a broad spectrum of microorganisms. The Halo fogger assures a homogenous distribution of disinfectant on all surfaces including high touch areas, around doors, behind window treatments and even under desks and is safe for use around all electronic equipment. Halosil’s Halo Fogger is an ideal solution for adjunct disinfecting of pre-cleaned and disinfected room surfaces.
