"description": "In this video, we show you the Dry Ice Blasting process to remove mold during Mold Remediation conducted by disaster restoration technicians after a water leak caused mold in someone’s home. Dry Ice Blasting is ONE step in the Mold Remediation & Disaster Restoration process: Step 1: Setup negative airflow with air scrubbers and containment so that while we are working no other area outside of the containment will become contaminated with mold. Step 2: Remove contaminated items and non-contaminated items from the site and either dispose the items damaged beyond repair or Clean/store the items contaminated in a climate-controlled off-site storage facility until the mold remediation is complete. Step 3: Fully clear out and contain the working space to begin the remediation (Remove carpet, affected drywall, ceiling, flooring, and debris contaminated by the mold) Step 4: Dry Ice Blasting ? Dry ice blast away the remaining mold that the demolition part of the remediation left behind. All semi-porous materials will be treated in this fashion including wood, framing, plywood, brick, block, and concrete. **Note - Dry ice blasting is the easiest and cleanest way to remove mold from these semi-porous materials. Step 5: Once the affected area has been HEPA vacuumed and damped wiped with an anti-microbial our contractors will come in and replace any drywall or carpeting that needs to be put back. Step 6: Re-add contents of room/home to the area (once they are cleaned and uncontaminated)",

At Dry-Concepts, we have a specially developed slanted scrub floor with a slope that diverts the urine-contaminated rinse solution to a trough so your rug comes out completely free of any animal waste. We use specialized rinse solutions in 90-gallon gravity fed containers to ensure adequate quantities are available to our technicians to totally dissolve contaminants. Our rinse hose has the volume to fill a 5-gallon bucket in two seconds. That powerful water flow gives us the ability to completely flush your rug clear of contaminants, odors, urine, dust, and dirt. This flushing process is done before any cleaning solutions are applied. Once your rug is completely flushed of any biohazardous materials, it’s then put through our normal cleaning process to clean out any remaining soils and stains. Once the rug goes through our pressurized wringers to squeeze out any excess water its placed in an insulated drying room which is heated to exactly 144 degrees which ensures your rug will be thoroughly dried without any damage to the fibers. It is then kept at this temperature for up to 6 hours to eliminate bacteria and contaminants. The extra layer of disinfection that takes place during the drying process is only available at Dry-Concepts.",
